The area is nationally known for its coarse fishing and licenses can be obtained from us to cover waters including the Huntspill, the Brue, the Axe, the King Sedgemoor Drain and the South Drain. There is a closed season throughout Sedgemoor for freshwater fish in rivers in the period between 14 March and 16 June. Ponds can still be fished.

Attractive village on the edge of Exmoor. The Castle and Castle Gardens are open and a walk around the village can be very enjoyable. The working water Mill, Village Gardens and Church are all open to the public. You can even arrive by steam train to this most picturesque of villages.
